UBVE #5 A Call to Arms

You know how we love to always be careful to take on small projects, well within what we can handle and that will be so easy as to be dull. Yes? Yeah ok, you got me, we never behave like that, we are idiots and love being in over our heads. We are doing it again.

Here is what Vince has to say about it.


'The aim of Un:Bound Video Editions is to take writers and fans and throw them into the kind of stories they love to find out what makes them tick. After zombies, ghosts and a forthcoming murder mystery, we're thinking a little bigger for our next project - feature film size. It'll still have our trademark mix of real-life interviews and dramatic action, but the increased scale and scope means we're going to need help. That help could be anything from providing a suitable prop or item of clothing, to serving as an extra or pointing us to a location that would be great to use. We've planned for a long period of pre-production, because we know how hard it is to put together and release a quality film on a micro-budget, but it can be done if we work together. And honestly, who wants to go through life without making a kick-ass fantasy film?'

The Plot Thickens : Hauntings

Well, we are waiting for word of the launch date for the book of Hauntings by Newcon Press, including the five stories told on the night. In the mean time here is the stunning cover artwork by Ben Baldwin.

A night in a country pub with five ghost stories! This is the third episode of Un:Bound Video Editions and it all gets a little bit spooky. The stories are being posted in full separately, the first two are available in the side bar, with the other three coming soon. These stories will form part of an anthology, also called Hauntings, coming from Newcon Press soon.

UBVE#3 Hauntings | Update

Hi folks, you may have noticed two new videos in the sidebar. These are the first two stories from our Hauntings evening with Newcon Press. In addition to Ian and Mark's stories we have coming up Paul Kane, Marie O Regan and Amanda Hemingway.

We also have the third Un:Bound Video Edition 'Hauntings' coming up, filmed at the same time and including a discussion on lingering spirits with the authors.

Huge thanks to Ian, Marie, Mark, Paul and Amanda for a fabulous evening of ghost stories and to Chris, Selina and Patricia for taking on acting roles and rocking them.

Thanks of course to everyone who attended and to the Staff of Life Mowsley for hosting and making us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic night and I can't wait to see the results.
